Date Calculator
Count the days, weeks and months between two dates, or add and subtract days from any date - with a working-days-only option.
Two date jobs in one tool
Most date questions are one of two shapes. Either you have two dates and want the gap between them, or you have one date and want to jump forwards or backwards by a set amount. The tabs above cover both, using your device's local calendar so a date is never shifted by a time-zone quirk.
Difference between two dates
Enter a start and an end date to see the total days, the equivalent in whole weeks plus leftover days, and the calendar difference in months and days. For example, 1 January to 1 March is 59 days, or 8 weeks and 3 days, or exactly 2 months. Tick working days only and the count drops every Saturday and Sunday, so a Monday-to-Friday fortnight reads as 10 working days rather than 14. It does not subtract public holidays, so knock those off separately.
Add or subtract from a date
Pick a start date, choose add or subtract, then enter a number of days, weeks, months or years. Adding days and weeks simply steps along the calendar. Adding months and years lands on the same day number in the target month, and clamps to the month's last day when needed, so 31 January plus one month becomes 28 February (or 29 in a leap year). The result shows the full date and the weekday it falls on - useful for deadlines, notice periods and renewal dates.
