Removing pages the visual way

Blank scanner pages, cover sheets, adverts, duplicate copies - long PDFs collect pages you do not want to keep. Instead of typing ranges, this tool lays out every page as a numbered chip. Click the ones to remove and they get a line through them; the rest are copied into a fresh, tidy PDF. It runs on pdf-lib in your browser, so your file is never uploaded.

Selecting pages quickly

For a handful of pages, just click each one. For bigger jobs, Select all marks everything and you then click back the few keepers, while Invert flips the whole selection in one go - ideal when you want to keep only a small section. The live counter reads "Keeping X of N" so you always know how long the finished document will be, and it stops you deleting every page by mistake.

What stays the same

Kept pages are copied exactly as they are: selectable text, working links and full-resolution images all survive, and the page order never changes. Deleting pages does not re-compress or flatten anything, so the result is a genuine subset of your original.

Deleting versus extracting

Deleting and extracting are two sides of the same coin, and which is faster depends on your goal. If you want to lose only a few pages from a long document, delete those and keep the rest here. If instead you want to save just a small section and discard everything else, extracting is quicker - mark almost everything with Select all, then unmark the section you want. Either way the pages you keep are copied verbatim, so nothing about their content or quality changes.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose which pages to delete?
After loading your PDF, click any page number to mark it for deletion - it shows a line through it. Click again to keep it. The counter shows how many pages will remain before you save.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Pages are removed with pdf-lib inside your browser and the file is never uploaded. That makes it safe for bank statements, contracts and other private documents.
Can I delete a range of pages at once?
Use "Select all" then click the few pages you want to keep to unmark them, or use "Invert" to flip your current selection. This makes deleting large blocks quick.
What happens to the pages I keep?
They are copied into a new PDF in their original order, with text, links and image quality intact. Only the marked pages are left out - nothing else is changed.
